First World Kratom Conference set for August 22nd in Thailand

The 7th Current Drug Development International Conference (CDD2023) & the 1st World Kratom Conference (WKC2023) will take place on August 22nd, 2023, in kratom’s native Phuket, Thailand.

The Prince of Songkhla University, which established this event, is the top research institution in the world on kratom in determining both the research direction and development potential of kratom plants.

The main theme for the conference is ‘Global Issues of Kratom Development’, according to the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau.

The event will unite industry professionals, experts, and scholars to discuss their expertise and move towards better collaboration in this field. There will also be various lectures from keynote and guest speakers in their respective research areas.

This conference will be considered the starting point for developing kratom’s economic and medical potential, advancing kratom research worldwide, and serving as a platform for networking and international collaboration to advance and grow the topic within the academic community.
